Short Floor Side Entry Van Conversion

What is a short floor van conversion?

We offer two side entry wheelchair accessible van designs, short floor and full floor. If you do not require a front seat wheelchair position, we offer a short floor conversion for the Dodge/Chrysler Caravan, Chrysler Pacifica or Toyota Sienna that provides wheelchair access in the centre of the vehicle. This model is perfect for families and also well-suited to a wheelchair passenger who requires close proximity to a personal care attendant.

Features

All models are crash tested and all OEM replacement parts are used in the conversion process.

Chrysler Pacifica/Caravan (Short)

Built with quality and value in mind, these conversions feature a shorter length lowered floor, allowing the wheelchair passenger to ride in the second row area. 

  • Accommodates one wheelchair passenger in the second row area
  • 6 passenger capacity + wheelchair passenger (with optional second row seat)
  • Third row three-person bench seating behind wheelchair position
  • Optional unique caregiver seat in 2nd row, full-sized and safety tested
  • Optional bi-folding side ramp with power operation 

This model features a heated sliding passenger door sill to prevent ice and snow buildup. Additionally, it offers lots of family space and the rear storage is retained. 

Dodge Caravan (Short)

The short floor conversion is built to be more economical due to fewer structural modifications required.

  • Accommodates one wheelchair passenger in the second row area
  • 6 passenger capacity + wheelchair passenger (with optional second row seat)
  • Third row three-person bench seating behind wheelchair position
  • Optional unique caregiver seat in 2nd row, full-sized and safety tested

This model features a lightweight, bi-folding ramp that is easy to open and close. Additionally, it retains dedicated storage space in the rear of the vehicle.

Toyota Sienna (Short)

The short floor conversion offers good value and surprising wheelchair space on the Toyota Sienna.

  • Accommodates one wheelchair passenger in the second row area
  • In-floor manual ramp allows for easy access
  • Seats up to 6 people + wheelchair position with a second row seat option
  • Third row three-person bench seating behind wheelchair position
  • Unique caregiver seat in 2nd row allows close-to-wheelchair positioning (optional)

This model features a lightweight, in-floor ramp that is easy to open and close. Additionally, it retains dedicated storage space in the rear of the vehicle.
