What is a full floor van conversion?

Savaria offers two side entry wheelchair accessible van designs, short floor and full floor. The full floor conversion for Dodge/Chrysler Grand Caravan or Chrysler Pacifica offers maximum flexibility for seating including an option for a wheelchair position in the front passenger seat or the accommodation of a wheelchair driver. The stainless steel lowered floor provides superior corrosion protection. 

A full floor conversion accommodates the wheelchair position in the front row or second row.

(cannot fit 3 wheelchairs).

All models are crash tested and all OEM replacement parts are used in the conversion process.

Dodge Caravan Full Floor

The full floor conversion can be configured for a wheelchair driver, or a wheelchair front passenger.

  • Rail drainage system in floor to keep water away
  • Stainless steel fuel line and floor + a reinforced stainless steel step under moulding
  • 6 passenger capacity
  • Back bench seat at proper height for comfortable seating
  • Spare tire lies flat in the trunk (if equipped with spare tire)

The driver seat is positioned straight with steering wheel (not offset), and there is no loss of electronic seat controls for front seats.

Chrysler Pacifica/Grand Caravan Full Floor

Same features as for the Dodge Caravan with a few extras:

Upgraded interior finishing

Foot operated bar on removable seats for easier removal

Model 2018 or later for Pacifica
Model 2021 or later for Chrysler Grand Caravan
